Tea Set
Made in my lovely light filled Bristol studio in stoneware, this beautiful functional, one of a kind tea set has been carefully considered so that function does not stand in the way of design and beauty. Wheel thrown in small batches, this unique ceramic tea set for two comprises of a teapot, two cups and a tray. Bringing a little ceremony to the everyday ritual of tea drinking. This is by far one of my favourite pieces to make, I love the challenge it presents to my making skills but also the careful line between function and aesthetic. There is an elegance to this set that brings me much joy. With the subtle differences that come from making by hand combined with the realistic challenge of bringing some many different elements together, each tea set is truly unique.
