Large Bowl - Rusty Orange
Description:
Rusty orange as its best, poured over the surface partly for practical reasons and not having a bucket big enough to dip in one but also (mainly) because I love the pour marks that come when using my rusty orange glaze in this way. So much movement to an otherwise static piece, paying homage to the way it was made, in movement.

Glaze:
Rusty Orange, glazed on a darker iron rich speckled stoneware body this glaze has an amazing level of variety from pot to pot. From a warm rusty ochre orange to a silky white. I often pour this glaze to encourage the variety in colour and texture as this is mainly caused by thickness.
