Description:
Part of a project this summer to scale up on the wheel, a project I am always desperate for more time on. Made from two to three thrown parts whilst trying to get the perfect balance of a drier stable base and a wetter top section that I can continue to throw with once joined. A large bottle shaped vase that has created a lovely surface for the glaze.

Height 33cm
Circumference at widest point 70cm
Glaze:
Rusty Orange, glazed on a darker iron rich speckled stoneware body this glaze has an amazing level of variety from pot to pot. From a warm rusty ochre orange to a silky white. I often pour this glaze to encourage the variety in colour and texture as this is mainly caused by thickness.
