Teapot - Bulrush
Description:
I love a teapot, both in their end use and in their making. There are many moving parts to bring together when making, considering the function and aesthetics equally. Not only must all the pieces work in harmony when looking at the finished piece but it should feel comfortable to hold and most importantly must pour well. These teapots have a capacity of approx. 1.1L which is around four cups using my smaller cups and two – three of my larger cups.
Glaze:
Bulrush, this is the same glaze as blush but using a darker speckled clay body. Resulting in peachier, golden pink tones with beautiful warm taupe tones where the glaze breaks along the surface and a slight grey hue.

Please note I am currently on maternity leave, making me a little slow in getting parcels to the post.
