Made to Order Dinner Services
As a maker the uniformity that comes from repetition in making is so satisfying, your muscles develop memories for different forms and with each make you get better. Making by hand also introduces unique qualities to each piece that are left at every stage of the process leaving each and every piece different from the last. The. quality of work is always. at the forefront of consideration and is a driving force behind all work that I make. I like to spend time with work that I create, giving me the space to pursue the endless possibilities of meeting perfect function with elegance and beauty. I have had the pleasure of making a number of dinner services for clients over the years. Making both by hand and to order allows for subtle changes from commission to commission. Changes driven by my own current interests and thoughts of form and finish but also from the needs of clients themselves. Made to order dinner services take a minimum of 8 weeks to complete to give me plenty of time to work to the high standard I desire. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions., When you are ready to order I can send out glaze samples so you can make a decisions on finish. |
Tableware
Alongside making dinner services I have a carefully curated collection of tableware that aims to bring a sense of ceremony to the function of every day life. Each piece has been reworked many times to perfect the balance between design and function. The collection is also made to order but I do keep a small section of unglazed work. So depending on the size of order and finish I can turn some orders around within two weeks. For larger orders then I work to an 8 week turn around. |
